The latest addition to the PCM1704UK brand converters, it is a new iteration that we consider it the most successful DAC on this component: indeed it does not contain less than 8!All the components are sorted on the shutter and paired by hand: this is a question of very high fidelity, so expect a breathtaking sound experience. To top it all, this DAC also won a Qobuzissime from Qobuz: Qobuzissime for this DAC with superlative and super sound!

Specially provided interior

Built-in PCM1704UK converters allow you to manage sources up to 24Bit / 192kHz. The MASTER 7 has 6 inputs: BNC SPDIF, AES / EBU, Coaxial SPDIF, Toslink Optics, and I2S via HDMI or RJ45, as well as 3 outputs: RCA, ACSS, and XLR. That is, the entire internal wiring is designed in OCC Copper, and a TCXO Audio-GD Clock is directly integrated, allowing the Jitter to significantly decrease.

An exceptional architecture

Its architecture with built-in DPS is combined with a separate oversized power supply of 21 groups, including 19 in Class A high-flying. Its transformers develop up to 1500W of power, for only 48W of consumption. The MASTER 7 est so designed around 8 PCM1704UK and DSP1 (Altera Cyclone II) that work in parallel, alongside ultra discrete AOP. A structure 100% aluminum black anodized finishes this architecture sober, elegant, which reveals all its power.

DSP - Altera Cyclone II

The French definition of DSP would call it "Digital Signal Process", or "Digital Signal Processing". This mini processor is optimized to process a large amount of data in parallel with each clock cycle. It is very efficient to process the digital signals that arrive to it.

8x PCM1704UK

These 8 analog digital converters (DAC) use the R2R conversion which consists in directly using the bits of the digital signals to reconstruct the analog signals, all this acting on a network constituted solely by resistors having a given value (R) and its double (2R), without going through an over-sampling phase.
