This DAC Headphone Amplifier has several digital inputs:

• Optical Input
• BNC Input (RCA Adapter)
• USB Input (16bit / 44kHz)

The analog signal is output on the front of a 6.35 jack .
This output is variable in volume, it can also be used as a preamp with a jack adapter 6.35 to RCA

Either on the rear panel , on 2 RCA sockets , but at fixed volume.
An integrated amplifier is therefore necessary but the signal does not pass through the variable part and the potentiometer.
