This twist metal drill bit is made from a high speed steel alloy (HSS) and 5% Cobalt. This design ensures excellent wear resistance and protection against heat. Taking advantage of a double helix structure, the drill bit can be used longer than a conventional drill by promoting chip evacuation. It is suitable for drilling on alloyed or non-alloy steel, stainless steel, cast steel, cast iron or heat and acid resistant metals.The drill bit has a cylindrical shank of the same diameter and is suitable for screw drills or drill holders.
