This twist drill is made of high speed steel (HSS). This design ensures high hardness and therefore excellent wear resistance and protection against heat. Taking advantage of a double helix structure, the drill can be used longer than a conventional drill by promoting chip evacuation. It is suitable for drilling on alloyed or non-alloy steel, stainless steel, cast steel, cast iron or heat and acid resistant metals. The drill has a cylindrical shank of the same diameter and is suitable for screw drills or drill holders.
