This is the only 32bit 192kHz amplifier dedicated to the Raspberry Pi2 and Pi3 you'll need! The JustBoom Amp HAT TAS5756 is designed to be easy to install and use. With no soldering required and supplied with all assembly accessories, this product will be suitable for both professionals and beginners. Simply connect your HAT Amp to a set of passive speakers and your system is operational and allows you to enjoy high quality audio playback. An optional IR receiver (to be soldered) is also provided, so you can control your amplifier remotely.

This amplifier is based on a TAS5756 Class D 32bit 192kHz amplifier chip, for a peak power of 2x25W. The JustBoom Amp HAT accepts speaker cables up to 14AWG (2.08mm²) in cross-section on screw terminals. The amplifier can be combined with passive loudspeakers with an impedance from 8Ω to 4Ω and offers a clear and crystal clear sound reproduction. The HAT uses the I2S interface for its audio input, which reduces the CPU load on the Raspberry Pi compared to USB solutions. It is also designed to back-power the Raspberry Pi on the 40-pin GPIO connector. All it takes is one power supply for the entire system.

Finally, all unused pins of the Raspberry Pi GPIO are always available on the Amp HAT to facilitate the customization of your project. Addition of sensors, buttons, LEDs, rotary encoders, everything is possible!

It is possible to adjust the gain to suit your system. To do this, simply move jumper J5 of the module. The following table allows you to know how to adjust the gain.
