More info

We strongly recommend using a heat sink with this module: Anodised Heatsink Radiator 176x60x33mm.

This dual transistor stereo amplifier module TTC5200 is of a design reproducing a proven pattern which marked the sound of the glorious years of the HIFI of the 1970s. Here it is in an updated version with transistors and modern components.

The clean layout allows modifications and upgrades for experienced "DYERS" who are familiar with this type of schema. An amplifier of simple design in "quasi complementary" design with two Toshiba NPN bipolar per side that offers a sound of a large joint without the usual defects of crossing crossover with several transistors.

Thee assembly will be simplified for fixing on aluminum heatsink computed accordingly with pre-drilled holes (optional).

Un amplifier with melodic, warm, structured sound, reserved for connoisseurs possessing high efficiency speakers .

This class A amplifier, due to its operation, generates heat. The power components should be of high quality to walk properly over the long term.

It is therefore intended for persons with good knowledge in electronic assembly to measure the rest voltages for example.

Provide a transformer and its power supply card capable of delivering between 12 and 28V DC (see accessories).

If you intend to use this amplifier on vinyl phenolic membrane compression chambers ortweeters with low permissible power, provide an anti-POP timer for your speakers.

  • AT: VCC input from 12 to 28V (VCC + and GND -)
  • B: VCC input of 12 to 28V (VCC + and GND -)
  • C: Speaker output (GND = ground, OUT = plus terminal)
  • D: Speaker output (GND = ground, OUT = plus terminal)

Symmetrical Class A
I bought a pair from this amplifier. I use a SMSL SU-9n as preamp and dac. I use xlr connector between the amplifier and DAC, and no other volume control. The two panel working in bridge. The power supply is Mean Well LRS-150-24 set on 20,8V, the output power 2x20W (calculated). I use Fischer SK 418-100 heatsinks, the temp is 60-62 degrees. I have removed the output condensers, so the output DC 10-20mV diference. No clipping when switching on. Powerfull dynamics, perfect frequenci response, no nois on output. The streo sound is wunderfull, incredible resolution. (I have other JLH1969, with condenser (Visai 2x2200uF low ERS+ Rubicon 6x1000uF low ERS + 7 x 10uF WIMA MKP), i think the output condenzer 20-30% kill the sound, primarily the bass). I use the bridge version with Fostex Fe206NV and FT17H in reflex box, 5000KHz crossover 6dB/dec, viablue SC2 speaker cable. Whit this amplifier and Speaker you can hear, a whole new side of your musics, sometimes to break down a wall...

Unexpectedly good experience
Assembled a small amplifier, used MEAN WELL RS-100-24 power supply, for this power supply one Heat Sink Radiator Black Anodized 176x60x33mm (that has already holes for the transistors) is not enough, final version will have two of them in ECO Case EP1001825 180x250x100. Can only recommend it.
