Wondom's JAB2 V2 is an integrated Class D amplifier module, integrating a DSP and a Bluetooth reception function (aptX HD). This version of the JAB2 V2 is capable of delivering a power of 2x50W. Its DSP chip allows it, after connection to the Wondom ICP3 (or higher) and to a PC, to access the modification of parameters such as volume level, gain, frequency or equalization.

In addition to its speaker output, the JAB2 V2 offers an additional mixed signal output, allowing the audio stream to be sent to another amplifier board to design a 2.1 or 4.0 audio system. It is also possible to configure it as a subwoofer signal by frequency adjustment in via the PC interface.

On the power supply side, the JAB2 V2 can be powered conventionally in 10.8-24VDC or using a battery to improve its portability.

Bluetooth 5.0

Benefiting from Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, the JAB2 V2 supports the aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL, SBC and AAC protocols and has a high reception sensitivity with RF power up to 9dB and -90dBm. The module integrates an antenna to enhance reception quality and distance. An external antenna port is also present.

Line input

In addition to its Bluetooth connectivity, the JAB2 V2 has a 3.5mm jack line input. The signals from these two input modes are mixed before being transmitted to the amplification circuit.

DSP & PC Interface

After connection with an ICP3 module (sold separately), it is possible to access the PC configuration interface. This software developed by Sure will allow you to adjust the gain level, high and low pass filters, noise suppression, bass control, frequency offset and many other effects.

Battery operation (optional)

The JAB2 V2 can be battery powered. It uses an MPPT charging circuit. To power the module in this way, it will be necessary to use the additional AA-JA11113 lithium battery module (sold separately).
