Media player WiFi Bluetooth 5.0 Airplay2 HDMI USB Optical
The CB-98WB is an Audio & Video receiver / decoder module integrating WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, SPDIF optical, HDMI, USB and AUX inputs.
As easy to integrate as it is to use, it is an ideal base to upgrade your active speakers or amplifier in order to add a network player / media player function and to assemble an audio system with complete network connectivity.
Ultra compatible & Multi-room
A true Swiss Army knife of audio connectivity, the CL-98WB is equipped with a remarkable arsenal of connectors as well as network protocols to work with most of audio technologies currently in use.
The module supports Linkplay & Amazon multiroom protocols as well as the Apple Airplay2 protocol. Which makes it a component of choice for your most ambitious home audio installations thanks to immediate compatibility with the most common multiroom sources.
It can receive high definition audio streams (up to 192kHz 24bit) and interface with an application such as Muzo Pod to receive radio streams, Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, etc.
A113X chip
The whole module uses an A113X chip integrating an ARM Quad-core Cortex A53 processor combined with an audio processor capable of decoding audio streams up to 24bit-192kHz while providing a stable entry point to interface your audio system as well as the user interfaces.
The latter offers perfectly commendable audio performance given the features offered by the CL98WB and its price range, with a THD of 0.03% and a signal-to-noise ratio of 95dB on the 20-20000Hz band.
Digital and analog audio output
On output, the module is able to function as a DAC via its AUX output. It can then be connected directly to a preamplifier, amplifier or active speakers to form a complete and compact system.
An I2S output is also available to use the output of the CLOUDYX CL-98WB as a digital interface and attack a larger DAC or DSP.
Of course, the dematerialized inputs (WiFi & Bluetooth, Airplay 2) are also available as both analog and digital outputs.
