This BR13 Bluetooth receiver from FiiO is equipped with an ES9018K2M DAC chip, a QCC5125 Bluetooth version 5.1 receiver chip and a TPA1882 amplifier chip. Versatile and high-performance, it boasts a wide range of connectors, including Toslink optical, coaxial SPDIF and USB-C inputs, as well as two outputs: a stereo RCA line output and a Toslink optical output. This makes it compatible with a large number of Hi-Fi devices for easy integration into your sound system, chained directly to a DAC, power amplifier or active speakers, for example. It accepts 24-bit 96kHz resolution streams via its inputs, and is capable of reproducing a 2Vrms signal level via its RCA output.
The Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip enables FiiO's BR13 to support high-resolution Bluetooth codecs; SBC, AAC, aptX, adaptive aptX, aptX LL, aptx HD, LDAC. It supports multiple connections to up to 2 simultaneous devices for easy source switching. Low Latency mode (aptX LL) lets you use the BR13 to watch movies or play video games while avoiding latency effects.
Thanks to its control application, the BR13 gives you access to 7 presets and 2 types of EQ settings with 10 adjustable frequency bands. This feature allows you to customize your listening experience according to your tastes and audio source.
FiiO's proprietary technology enables the BR13 to upsample low-resolution streams up to 24Bit 96kHz via all its inputs, for quality sound reproduction.
The BR13 integrates high-quality components: a QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip, an ES9018K2M DAC chip and a TPA1882 amplifier chip. The combination of these three components guarantees quality sound reproduction. The ES9018K2M DAC chip is a 32-bit stereo chip from ESS Technologie specially designed for audiophile applications. In addition, the TPA1882 operational amplifier chip guarantees low distortion and noise levels. In terms of performance, FiiO's BR13 boasts an SNR > 112dB as well as a THD+N < 0.0008% on its non-Bluetooth inputs and a THD+N < 0.0018% in Bluetooth LDAC.
