DAC AK4493 Tube Headphone Amplifier Class A Hybrid ECC82 32bit 384kHz DSD256
xDuoo offers with its TA-10R a Class A tube DAC and headphone amplifier combo of great quality, offering both a beautiful musicality and a great precision in its sound restitution. The preamplifier stage using an ECC82/12AU7 tube and its Class A transistors allows it to develop a comfortable power of 2000mW under 32Ω which will be suitable for very many headphones on the market.
AK4493 DAC
The digital/analog conversion stage of the TA-10R is based on an AKM AK4493EQ DAC chip. This one is the insurance of a rich and precise reproduction, notably thanks to its Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology, allowing to reduce considerably the jitter level. It also allows to support and read high resolution files, up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256 (USB).
This chip is associated with very good digital interfaces, with an XMOS chip for the USB input and a CS8422 chip for the SPDIF inputs.
Dual Clock & CPLD
The TA-10R features two low phase noise active clocks for incredibly accurate digital to analog conversion at any sample rate. These clocks are combined with a CPLD to process and adjust the data for perfect signal synchronization and minimum jitter.
