USB Interface XMOS U208

Here is a USB to I2S interface. It works in asynchronous mode with an XMOS U208 USB chip optimized for high fidelity audio applications.

The interface supports digital audio streams up to 32bit-384kHz sample rate as well as DSD streams up to DSD256 on its I2S output.

It can be powered directly via USB or with a separate 3.3V power supply thanks to an integrated ultra-low noise LDO regulator. Allowing the easy setup of a power supply with battery or adapt to a power supply module designed for Hi-Fi uses. The USB power supply is automatically shut when an external power supply is detected.

Example of use

The interface is ideal for all your DACS I2S modules. In the photo above, it is associated with a balanced I2S 32Bit ES9028 DAC module (not supplied with the module).
