With KATO in-ear monitors, Moondrop has optimized the structure and volume of the ULT dynamic driver and acoustic chamber to achieve outstanding linear distortion performance. These IEMs have excellent amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency response, resulting in better timbre and soundstage reproduction.

The brand has also worked on a new silicone tip, improving comfort and preventing sound leaks and resonances, promoting a nice linearity of high frequencies for a more natural timbre.

Interchangeable sound tubes & anti-blocking filter

These KATO earphones have an interchangeable sound tube, thanks to the inclusion of a thread for easy replacement. They also come with two pairs of tubes, one made of stainless steel, the other of brass. These tubes also include a new patented anti-blocking filter, which prevents clogging in the tube.

High end cable

The Moondrop KATO comes with a cable that uses silver-plated copper braided conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity. The structure of the cable reduces the skin effect and proximity effect, thus playing a real role against interference. The cable is also detachable, as the headphones have standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, and can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
