The Esoteric Dayton Audio series brings together expertise and advanced materials to achieve a highly qualitative result with excellent durability.

All its design , all the parts and their interactions have been worked with the most modern methods, by applying the Klippel and FEA optimizations.

The resistor is constructed from a copper-clad aluminum wire. It follows a flat coil structure (Edgewound) to form a conductor having a suitable density to a higher audio experience. The titanium structure ensures excellent transmission of the motor movement while enjoying an exceptional resistance to deformation. The dome is designed with fiberglass to easily withstand the high pressure exerted by the motor.

FEA Design & Klippel Optimization

The speaker enjoys a very precise design, an in-depth work to master the constraints to obtain a pure and powerful sound. It works with a neodymium motor optimized by FEA (finite element method) reinforced by two brass rings which drastically limit the amount of distortion by reducing the inductance during movement.

With its wide acoustic coil of 7.62 cm coupled to a titanium structure, the ES180TiA-8 is capable of rotating at high power while maintaining a superior transient response.
