Stereo preamplifier with tone control

In addition to a volume control by rotary potentiometer, this preamplifier offers a triple tone control. Its possibilities are based on a clever selection of components allowing the device to offer a high-performance whileremaining low-priced.

Very easy to use, it has an input and an output on gold-plated stereo RCA connector.  It is controlled using four potentiometers (bass, medium, treble, general volume) as well as an on / off selector. 

Tone control

The main feature of this preamplifier is to offer a triple tone control. It is capable of independently adjusting the bass, mid and treble as needed. You can therefore adapt the sound reproduction according to your installation and the desired listening, or correct the potential sound gaps in your audio system.

When on position zero, the trebble button has a function to bypass the tone circuit.

Quality audio components

This preamplifier uses quality components to offer very good audio performance. It includes a regulated linear power supply with its own toroidal transformer, high speed rectifier bridge and filtering by ELNA capacitor. The audio circuit uses a switching relay.

Two LM4562 operational amplifiers mounted on DIP-8 support (removable). Both of them can be replaced according to the user's taste or the specificity of the whole sound installation in order to change the sound flavor.

Compact et efficace
Tout juste reçu et branché entre un DAC et un ampli Heed pour avoir une possibilité de réglage des basses et aigus. A l’air de bien faire le job sans trop dénaturer la signature sonore. L’appareil a l’air bien construit mais il chauffe aussi pas mal. A voir dans le temps.
