The ETI Bulletplug® RCA connectors offer unlike most of their competitors, even those marketed as high-end significantly increased conductivity.
The vast majority of RCA connectors are made from nickel, gilded brass or bronze / phosphorus alloys with a conductivity typically less than 28% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard).
By way of comparison, the high purity copper used in the vast majority of interconnecting cables has a conductivity rating of 100% IACS. Due to this low conductivity and the use of three disparate metals, the majority of standard RCAs, even expensive tend to decrease the performance of the components to which they connect.
The apETI is radically different, the contact elements are machined in high purity Copper Telurium (more than 90% IACS) or pure silver (106% IACS) so as to ensure maximum conductivity up to 320%).
Thea contact structure at only one point of the ground also makes it possible to avoid eddy currents ( Eddy Current).
