Coupling or decoupling? Although very widely used in the Audiophile environment, the term decoupling is often misused, since the tips are not in the proper sense of the de-couplers but of the couplers. The action in the physical sense of the term to connect two elements by means of spikes allows the energy to circulate freely between them transferring the vibrations to the last link of the chain. It is easy to apprehend that even a small rigid contact surface will transmit all the energy delivered to it.

The tips function in fact as mechanical amplifiers by concentrating the entire mass of the supported product on a very small surface of contact facilitating the stability and the flow of the energy towards the support of the enclosure. If the support is sufficiently heavy and inert, the vibratory energy is evacuated. The speaker vibrates less, the distortion disappears, the bass sounds are sharper, more precise. If the support is soft or light, it captures the vibration, resonates and degrades the sound.

The operating principle of the TRI absorbers has three components:
1.) Reception of vibrations, 2.) Concentration of received vibrations and pipeline to three pressure points, 3.) Dispersion of absorbed vibrations on the support.

The vibrations are received by the vibration absorbing disc.
They are then channeled by the integrated master disk to three specially cured peaks (Peaks).
The overpressure makes it possible to create three points of maximum pressure and the vibrations are eliminated.
The vibrations created by the speakers and other devices are no longer transmitted to the furniture and masonry and do not cause any parasitic noises.


ViaBlue TRI absorbers are made of brass and pressure parts (master disc, Peak) are hardened with steel.
In its greatest width, the diameter of a TRI absorber is 30 mm.
The initial height is 15 mm to which 1 mm additional height adjustment can be added.

An absorber consists of a ground-contact threaded element, a height adjustable turntable, three hardened steel peak points (Peak), a hardened master disk integrated into a vibration-absorbing disk.
The use of the TRI absorbers thus ensures a high level of clarity of the speakers: the basses are no longer transmitted to the ground and can be deployed freely throughout the space.
