The 285-2000 speaker reference now has a new central Alnico 5 motor to replace the former base ring motor.

This new configuration allows the membrane to capture the full power of the magnet. The mk2 version can thus achieve the same performance as previously in a more compact format.

This new profile induces less distortion and effectively supresses the magnetic constraints at the back of the speaker.

The moving equipment stays exactly the same, which preserves all the qualities that have become the signature of 285-2000 such as an excellent response in mid / bass, transparency and sound frequency balance.

This high-performance loudspeaker is ideal for medium-low frequencies in active multiway systems.
When mounted in plan panel, it can neatly accompany a 215-2000 speaker and offers ideal specifications for a low pavilion.
