This male XLR connector manufactured by Neutrik has three poles (gold plated pins).

This connector has a shield over the whole of its circumference, making it an ideal, highly reliable record for the transmission of digital audio signals. This is a coaxial shield with sleeve & entry into coil connector to facilitate the removal of interference. It is thus particularly suitable for the preparation of AES / EBU precision cables.

The connector base is rigid gum to impart a large resistance connector to the torsion / bending of the cable.
