First impression: The volumeknob is to short by around 2-5 mm for my fingers. The amp has few functions that are easy to use when using the volume knob by pressing it. 50 out of 70 with my elac debut 3 db v53 is enought for medium to loud music, for most people with a desktop setup (speakers rated at 86db). Sound depends on what you play, it sounds alot better with high quality recorded music than the opposite, open clear sound with neutral bass, mids, as sone at you play muddy waters folksinger it's sound much better than some 80's rock music but mabye you prefer that over muddy waters, john lee hooker, michael jackson. No bass monster but neutral and sounds controlled, good, after atleast an hour of medium loud music the amp still isn't warm If i miss anything i have think i have it on my wiim ultra streamer. I don't mention noise or pop sound because it's as good as you can expect, approved, it's fine. Cons: The short volume knob, no auto standby (if you need it), no 12 volt trigger (if you need it), sub out (if you need it) Pros: Good sound, power, fair price
