Being a long-time audiophile and part-time audio reviewer I have owned or tested numerous power amplifiers of any kind and cost. I own the (unfortunately discontinued) Audiophonics AP300-S2503E that uses this particular power module, fed by a Mornsun LOF550-20B48 Power Supply Module. To cut the long story short, I prefer this one to my 3.500€ solid state, zero feedback, single ended, pure class A marvel PORFYRA AUDIO that I used to cherish. I also prefer it to my 2.676€ "gentle giant" Audiophonics HPA-DM750ET. Its sound is wide and full, smooth, fluid, very detailed, spacious and three dimensional, with beautiful textures and finesse but, at the same time, it is fast, dynamic and controlled that it never gets boring. You just can't find any real drawback. Have no doubts and don't be fooled by its moderate price, this is a serious power amp regardless of the price. And the best TI TPA3255 implementation that I have come across. Just partner it with the best power supply you can afford, like the aforementioned Mornsun LOF550-20B48 or the even more powerful SMPS800RS (both are sold by Audiophonics), to maximize its driving capability (it is stable at 2Ω loads, can give more than 400W peaks per channel if the power supply supports it). Also use serious hook-up wiring for the power and speaker connections, like the ELECAUDIO FC125TC or better. I also highly recommend the EIZZ EZ-303 speaker terminals (tellurium copper is by far the best sounding metal after solid silver).
