Great product
The amp just arrived. Well packed. Well finished. Very good looking product.
Just out of the box the sound is truly astounding compared to my old ADAU1592 based small amp. No more issues with treble. Good solid bass. A lot more detail. Wider and deeper sound stage.
Thanks to Mr. Putzey for such a good design and thanks to Audiophonics for making it available at such a good price.

Incredible value for money
I normally never write a review but i feel inclined to do so for this product.
I have high sensitivity speakers (Blumenhofer) and thought that only a SET tube amplifier would be a good match, i was wrong.
My 300b died on me and having already put so much money in tubes i thought, time to try something different.
So after consideration and reading on audio science review forum about what makes an amplifier truly good, i choose this amplifier as in blind testing most people couldn’t hear a difference between Ncore and Purify (more expensive) and also between other even much more expensive amplifiers.
So i chose the smallest Ncore as my speakers are very easy to drive.
Listening:
The lower end is much cleaner and more controlled than my 300b was.
Midrange is fine, it hasn’t got the romantic touch of 300b tube but in it’s own right it doesn’t sound worse, just a bit different.
Highs, for class d, where in the past this just wasn’t very good, with Ncore i hear no problems whatsoever.
It just sounds great, and i dare say, for this price INCREDIBLE.
Hats off to Hypex and the original designer Bruno Putzey for making such a great inexpensive amplifier.
In my middle end to high end system it’s no slough.
Highly recommended, if your speakers need more juice, than the NC400 is better i guess.
