The DR70 did a big impression in my system. My idea was to use this DAC in the office, but just now it works in my main system....

DIfferent from the one illustrated
Once received the item, it seems "old" and a bit rusty and with different components than the ones in the website photos. A 10k resistance was cracked (not a grat problem, substituted). The most great difference (or problem) is in the capacitors bank. the PCB reports "10000uF", but in web photo we have 2200 uF x4 x Channel (quite near) and mounted I founded 1500 uF x4 xChannel, which is quite half than declared. Volt for capacitor is also different (35V instead of the illustrated 25V and that could be better). Also diodes are not the illustrated one (they are Motorola MBR1645 in a TO220 package).
I know these items are not produced by Audiphonic, but a more deep control of conformity may be in result of a better service. It's functional but I'm not so satisfacted. Sufficient but not more.
