Not easy
Most of the reviews online seem to be spot on. A wide soundstage, very spacious sound. It sounds a bit strained in the treble, though not shrill or harsh. It’s difficult to explain. Anything in the upper treble puts pressure on the ears.

plutôt convaincant
Très intéressant avec ampli Fosi v3 mono. Son très agréable, ample, précis. Jai pu comparer avec des Sparcos 3602. Les 828 sont plus aéré avec plus de profondeur dans l'image sonore, les Sparcos sont plus présent sur les voix avec un peut moins de profondeur a mes oreilles très bon également mais surtout très cher, trop cher !

Transparent, detailed and spacious
The OPA828 is a fantastic-sounding operational amplifier. It is completely transparent and delivers an extremely clear and detailed sound that is very pleasant and causes no listening fatigue even after a full day of listening. The soundstage is enormous and spacious.

Subtle improvements in clarity
Combined with Purifi Class D-modules this is as clear and good as it gets. Brings out the small nuances in the music like buzzing amp in the beginning of Norah Jones' Chasing Pirates and the bubble pop a little later. The shaker in Jackson's Wanna Be Starting Something is more distinct compared to the other three I have tested: OPA1612, OPA1656 and Sparkos SS3602. No need to go chasing futher and for more expensive ones. You should stay away from discrete op amps as the quality controll and specifications often vary enormously.
