really good
These now replace a good, stable quartet of JJ KT88s, which are underrated and which I, as a somewhat critical listener, have been happy with for a long time. To cut a long story short: they have now been running in for a few weeks and the Gold Lions are better in all sound-related aspects. I must add that from the very first minute, they sounded impressively free and open, yet accurate without any harshness. What's more, this quartet was absolutely perfectly matched! I assume that the matching is carried out by audiophonics, so kudos to them for their passionate accuracy! Thanks and best regards!

Pas fiables
Bonne représentation musicale, un peu grasse quand même mais agréable. Le gros problème est la durée de vie des tubes ! Un an , environ 80 heures max.

Excellentissime
Cohérence exceptionnelle de bas en haut du spectre. Beauté des timbres, musicalité. Médium et voix incarnées. Grave profond et modulé. Une réussite sur mon Audiomat Solfège ref qui drive des Triangle Cello. Seul bémol comme déjà mentionné, 40 heures mini pour le rodage mais c'est pour le meilleur !

I let the tubes burn in for about 100 hours and they work great for me, the bass is dense, the mids are brilliant, the treble is excellent, clean. It's hard to find a better one. I have a Cayin CS 88 A amplifier, I also replaced the tubes in the preamp with Tung-Sol, which Audiophonics also offers, specifically Tung-Sol 6SN7GT and Tung-Sol 6SL7GT. Great combination for this amplifier. Thanks Audiophonics for the fast delivery, very well packaged :)

Genalex Gold LION KT88
The Genalex gold lion KT88 tubes arrived very well packaged, after installing them in the amplifier, there was a noticeable difference in sound, I'm looking forward to burning the tubes and the sound will be even better. I bought them together with Tung-sol 6SN7GT and 6SL7GT for the Cayin CS 88 A amplifier. The whole combination is exceptional in sound, the sound is very dynamic, yet velvety soft, beautifully perceptible with all the details. Thanks to Audiophonics for the fast delivery of the package.
