Great solution especially with Ian Canada UCPI
i am using this power supply to power my RPI4B that is a DLNA server for my system
the RPI is fitted on an Ian Canda UCPI bought from audiophonics

this handy cable passes through the usb c data (i can confirm it keeps usb 3.1 speeds for the ssd) but powers the device from the DC side.

this setup results in VERY low noise floor. lower than anything i heard with my RPI until now.

prior to this i used an ifi Ipower Elite to power the UCPI board, and the SSD was powered from the RPI USB port.
i can confirm that with this shanti setup the noise floor, especially on the high frequencies is greatly reduced. i no, it is not fair comparison since in the case of the Elite the SSD was drawing power from the RPI usb port. but the shanti let's me do this isolated powering up of the rpi and ssd, so this is definitely a plus. i don't know if the reduced noise floor is due to purely the shanti, or the fact that i am now powering the SSD from a separate rail. but for roughly the same price (shanti vs ifi ipower elite) i can achieve this type of setup, resulting in very very low noise floor.

one thing i do not like is the cables and adapters on the shanti.. they don't seem of high quality, but again, lowest noise floor i heard.. maybe in the future i will replace the shanti wire with something that is terminated directly with a usb C connector.

regarding heat, the shanti is warm to the touch.
definitely warmer than an ifi ipower elite.
but cooler than a ferrum hypsos, and much cooler than a farad super 3.

so very happy with this buy and what it did for my setup !

Bonjour, j ai acheté cette alimentation pour mon phono limetree 5v , j ai testé avec cable standard , c est deja bien ,puis avec un cable belden,iec iego or et bals schuko , c est encore mieux . Avec cable standard je mettrrais 4 etoiles et avec un cable meilleure 5 etoiles .belle finition , on gagne en silence ,donc details ,precision, en timbre,douceur,tenue, basse plus punchy , un bas medium plus epais , je la recommande vivement avec un cable digne !

I have a Chord mojo and a hifiberry dig+ pro. Before I was using a power bank, and there was a clear difference between coaxial and toslink, toslink sounded 3d but a little less decisive, and coaxial was more impactfull but 2d, now both inputs sound equally 3d, clearly there was some electrical noise coming through coaxial that affected the dac which by the way is not galvanically isolated and this psu solved the problem, I'm very happy with this result, in the future I plan on powering a Chord qutest and allo digione signature with this

Still waiting to form my final opinion on the Shanti. I am powering a RPI4 via usb to my Ares II Dac.
Going from a wallwart to a powerbank was a revelation - reducing sibilance, increasing width and depth by making the background blacker. It also brought a more controlled, albeit lacking bass.
With the Shanti the bass is back but a bit closer to what you get with a wallwart - more of it but less controlled. The sound is more dynamic than a powerbank. You definitely get more details as well but this comes at the cost of of a more sibilant and somewhat fatiquing sound. I definitely turned down the volume by about 10db for prolonged listening.
Again, I want to stress this is after less about10 hrs of listening.
I will continue listening and burning in the Shanti and then amend my review to reflect my final observations.
