The use of linear power supply (LPS) in a HiFi audio system has always been an excellent way to improve the playback of the system. However, some problems remain: the price of these feeds and the inability to find product data. It is with a view to correcting these problems that Allo offers the Shanti food.

It incorporates an excellent R-Core transformer, ideal for limiting noise and EMI interference. This transformer has a double output, galvanically isolated, delivering 5V 3A and 5V 1A in order to be able to supply several devices.

An independent filter is used for each power rail. A large series of capacitors reduces the 50/60Hz noise and then an active filtering followed by an LDO maintains a stable voltage. Since LDOs offer a poor transient response and impedance, a last active filter with a good transient response is integrated. This is followed by 15000µF capacitors. The Allo Shanti then embeds super capacitors in the output circuits. These allow the power supply to achieve excellent impedance and transient response. Finally, the power supply also uses an AC line filter and the AC section is grounded at the box. This intelligent design allows a noise level of 80nV (0.08µV on the 0Hz-20kHz frequency band)
