This little amplifier was an audiophile surprise for me. To say it in advance: it can definitely compete with amplifiers from the 1000€ league.
The first thing I noticed about the sound was the authority of the bass. It seemed as if my speakers were now supported by a very controlled subwoofer. Effortlessly and without strain, the MOS-120 controls the cones. This indicates a good damping factor. This sovereignty continues into the midband, which is wonderfully detailed and wide. The result is a spaciousness that I have never experienced with my speakers before. The high frequency range is accentuated and airy, giving the treble that typical audiophile melting. You can hear that this amplifier has a superior audio bandwidth.
The MOS-120 is a very good example of what makes a good analogue amplifier. It is puristic, but focuses on exactly what an amplifier must be able to do. I am considering ordering a second MOS-120 to use them channel separated. Unfortunately, my loudspeakers don't have a bi-wiring option and the MOS-120 can't be bridged, but this setup might give me even better channel separation.
