Nice automatic, worth a try.
Increasing the power on time with bigger capacity (the 220 uF printed on the board, already comes with 470 uF). Go for higher values to expand the time before shut off.
Add a 4.7k resistor between pin 1 and 2 (the pins next to the point marker on the chip) to increase sensivity from -36 dB to more practical -56 dB for low listening levels.
