Packaging: nice small box
Body 1: unlike the pictures at the Audiophonics website, the body is massive like the RC-102; so the earth cable has to be soldered to a massive copper mass, that requires several minutes of heating with my direct heated soldering tips @ 140W; unluckily this caused one of the plastic rings to become soft and deform
Body 2: like more of the Viborg plugs and sockets I’ve used, the machining is not up to the best levels; my other rca caps of several brands are too loose for these sockets
Sound: clearly more open and natural than the brand-less gold plated RCA plugs (no 15298, https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/rca-sockets/rca-plugs-gold-plated-pair-p-15298.html); less open, punchy and natural than the WBT-0201Cu
