This model is replaced by the new version: FIIO K5 PRO DAC Headphone amplifier AK4493 XMOS.

FFIIO always listening to music lovers offers the FIIO K5 Dock compatible with the nomadic DAP players X1, X3II, X5II, X7. In addition, the 11 pin female Micro USB port allows the connection of the FIIO E17 DAC amplifier.

The USB input of the FIIO K5 connected to a computer allows access to the player's storage card on the Dock.

This Dock obviously offers a quality headphone amplification with the Ti TPA6120A2 chip with a negative current counter-reaction mode armed with a precision potentiometer.

Combined with a 1.5W amplifier stage, the FIIO K5 has a high current level.

The FIIO K5 allows you to control high impedance headsets up to 300Ohm.

The sensitivity, gain is adjustable for the headphone input with three positions Low, Mid and High.

The balanced outputs on 3.5mm jack allow to drive a large number of headphones amplifiers, High Fidelity amplifiers on XLR connectors.

The sound result is of high quality with a warm, precise and dynamic sound. In the end an excellent compromise like Dock for your FIIO mobile player that also acts as a powerful headphone amplifier.

TRES PRATIQUE ET POLYVALENT.
Cet ampli est à la fois joli, pratique et de bonne qualité.
Je l'utilise depuis plus de 18 mois avec un Fiio X3II, il sert de dock afin de le maintenir chargé. Il suffit de l'allumer et le baladeur s'allume. On peut le laisser sur le dock et allumer directement le baladeur afin de le brancher sur une enceinte via la sortie ligne.
Comme toujours la qualité du son dépend en grande partie de celle des enregistrements. Utilisé avec divers casques: AKG K501, K612pro (plus facile à driver que mon vieux K501) Beoplay H6 et Bowers P7. Mon préféré est le 612Pro, à la fois très équilibré, léger, confortable avec, casque ouvert oblige une meilleure spacialisation et un son plus aéré que mes casques fermés . Je ne mets que 4 étoiles car la mise en place du baladeur sur le dock n'est pas toujours facile si on souhaite l'utiliser fréquemment en nomade et en sédentaire.
Un très bon produit à recommander aux possesseurs de baladeurs Fiio compatibles.
