Microphone for Dirac Measurement
The UMIK-1 is a well built measuring microphone you need to set up a Dirac system. It is well built and comes with a little stand and a connector-cable. The microphone works well and did everything it should during the measurement.

Great AV-processor with Dirac for incredible value.
The Tonewinner AT-600 is a solidly built AV-processor with a ton of connectivity and a full set of dirac-features built in.
My system: 7.2.4 with Tonewinner 7 Ch-Amp and NAD 4-Ch-Amp and B&W for speakers.
First impressions:
The case of the processor feels solid, all the connectors are gold-plated. The unit looks nice and clean with its big volume-dial in the middle and the two displays to the left and the right. The displays are big and can be set at different brightness-levels. The remote has a metal top face and is sturdy but it does not allow for the selection of all inputs. You have to use the smartphone app for that.
Setup
Before anything else, hook up the processor to the screen and set the speaker-configuration and the number of Subwoofers. You cannot configure this in the app.
I last made a full Dirac setup with an older system more than 6 years ago and should have remembered how important setting all the speakers to a similar level is. So: do this first, if you don't want to have crazy bass-levels! For Dirac, you have to have a special microphone that is NOT included. The included micro only works with Tonewinner's own room-correction system! The Processor and the Computer to which the micro for Dircac is connected have to be in the same WIFI-Network.
Sound and Picture
The sound after the correct dirac-measurement was really great, clear and crisp. The spacial impression of the soundstage was both deep and wide. I lowered the bass-levels slightly, but this was the only adjustment I made.
The picture quality is as expected, since I leave all the processing to the players and the projector and the processor has to just forward the signal.
Operation
The remote-control gives you direct access to three inputs you can define yourself. To select other inputs you have to use the input selection key that gives you the list of all inputs on screen you can select from. The Input selection through the app works better.
Input switching is quick and reliable. The sound- and picture-formats are correctly identified and displayed on the left screen.
The startup of the processor is sufficiently quick. There are two graphics on the screen when powering down. it would be nice if the user could customize them.

Conclusion:
The AT-600 is a great piece of AV-gear at a very good price considering the quality, connectivity and the fact that Dirac Live with Room Correction, Bass Control and Active Room Treatment are included. The build-quality seems to be very good, and the performance is more than satisfying.

As for any niggles, they are minor and few:
- DLNA-Compatibility would be nice, since the AT-600 has already the capability to play music-files from SD-Cards and USB-Drives and also has a permanent Network Connection.
- Not compatible with Logitec Harmony, but that is just a statement of warning to buyers that have a harmony system. Tonewinner cannot be blamed for Logitec abandoning its product.
- Allow for the reassigning of the symmetric outputs of the central Ceiling speakers as SW 2 and 3. This way a 7.2/3.4. system could be hooked up fully symmetrically.

Recommendation:
Go for it. If you have an extended AV-System and a tricky room that needs a good sound management, the AT-600 delivers at a price that is actually astounding.

SHANLING UA1 PLUS : parfait
Testé via les prises USB C de mon Samsung S8, de ma tour (sortie USB-C de ma carte-mère) pour alimenter mon ampli vintage Luxman et mes enceintes de monitoring. Le résultat est vraiment très bon. J'adore !

Quelle énergie !
Câble fantastique, intouchable sur une barrette secteur, délivre une énergie impressionnante. Monté avec un schuko viborg or et iec viborg rhodium, ça envoie, c'est précis sur tout le spectre. Polyvalent, il est excellent sur un ampli aussi.

Parfait
Convient parfaitement pour l'utilisation avec un amplificateur de classe D qui utilise une puce de chez TEXAS INSTRUMENTS (TPA3255) pour un gain non négligeable de puissance sans chauffer autant qu'avec une alimentation de 48V (5A ou 10A) en mode veille ("IDLE").

Superbes et réjouissantes C6B
Premières heures d’écoute absolument bluffantes. Le son est très naturel, avec une belle précision dans les détails et une scène large sans être artificielle. Les basses sont étonnamment vraiment bien détaillées même si ça ne descend pas très bas (mais rien d'anormal pour des bibliothèques), et le rendu global est très cohérent, que ce soit sur du jazz, de l’électro ou du triphop.
Petite précision utile pour les futurs acheteurs : la finition est gris donc différent de ce que peuvent laisser penser certaines images d’illustration qui donnent une impression de laqué.
Pour le rapport qualité/prix, je suis vraiment bluffé.

Moyen
Tout est dit. En comparaison avec des Jabra Elite 5 que j'ai perdu, c'est moins bien.
Le boitier en alu est trop petit et paradoxalement trop lourd. Certes il se glisse très facilement dans une poche, un peu trop facilement même. Il est donc facile à perdre. L'alu et le système d'ouverture fait un peu trop "charnière", mais ça fonctionne bien.
L'écoute est moyenne (ni bien ni mauvaise, équilibrée).
Le confort est bof. Je n'aime pas ces écouteurs souvent trop petits, sans pour cela qu'ils doivent être proéminent. Il faut trouver le bon équilibre. Leur forme ne les rend pas si faciles à tenir dans 2 doigts quand on va vite et qu'on veut les manipuler.
Voilà, donc c'est bien mais sans plus.

La première insertion peut être très ferme avec ce type de fiche banane à ressort. Il faut les insérer une première fois avec précaution, mais avec une certaine force, ou les comprimer très légèrement avant usage. Une fois cette première insertion effectuée, elles deviennent beaucoup plus faciles à brancher.

Joue remarquablement de la Musique
Acheté début Aout & mis en service, depuis une Source EVERSOLO DMP-A6, vers des KEF 105.2 recapées.
Cet Ampli LPA-450ET Purifi remplace avec Talent, un SANSUI AU-α 607 NRA II, trop difficilement réparable...
Je ne sais si un Rodage est nécessaire, mais il semble donner sa pleine mesure depuis 2~3 jours.
1er point : Spatialisation & impression d'un champ ~ espace plus vaste occupé par la musique.
2° : Basses légèrement plus fermes (Woofer B300~SP1071 neufs) et descendant peut-être plus bas encore.
3° : Neutre & sans véritable coloration.
4° : Borniers solides permettant un Large Câblage & une impression de solidité globale qui rassure.
5° : Ne chauffe presque rien, ce qui tend à valider l'excellent rendement électrique (surtout avec un Eté caniculaire).
Bref, il JOUE superbement la musique de fichiers Hi-Res, sans faire de cadeau aux enregistrements quelconques, avec Précision ~ Respect ~ Dynamique & Puissance (même si ce n'est pas ce que je recherche).
Les éloges de audiosciencereview.com et de qobuz.com semblent justifiées et je suis totalement satisfait de cet achat ;°)

Parfait pour Android
Je recommande chaudement ce dongle.
Je me suis équipé du récent Sennheiser HD480 Pro qui a une impédance de 130 Ohms (donc requiert un dongle pour être alimenté correctement), que j'utilise principalement avec mon smartphone et Apple Music en lossless.

Je l'utilise avec un câble symétrique jack 4.4 mm.

J'avais d'abord acheté le Fosi Audio DS2 sur Audiophonics également.
Premièrement, les boutons de volume ne fonctionnaient pas avec mon smartphone Nokia et j'entendais clairement une différence dans la maîtrise du grave lorsque je branchais le DS2 sur mon PC plutôt que sur mon smartphone : c'est comme s'il y avait un manque de courant lorsque je branchais le DS2 sur mon phone avec un manque de grave, ce qui n'arrivait pas lorsqu'il était branché sur mon PC.

Avec le Tanchjim Space, aucun problème !

D'une les boutons de volume fonctionnent et de deux, que je le branche sur mon téléphone ou sur mon PC, le grave est bien alimenté et maîtrisé dans les deux cas !

Je ne recommanderais pas le DS2 pour une utilisation Android...
mais je recommande volontiers le Space pour une utilisation smartphone/tablette/Android.

J'ai acheté ces enceintes sans les avoir entendus (je sais c'est mal) en me fiant à ce que j'ai pu lire dans audioscience, la confiance que j'ai en audiophonics, et puis ..je les trouve jolies.

Ma configuration :
- amplificateur audiophonics Tripath TA2022, préampli audiophonics,
- dac audiophonics Sabre ES9038Q2M muni d'une alimentation hifi ...audiophonics (bien sûr :-)

Au déballage, une belle impression de soin et de douceur s'en échappe.
Cette douceur se confirme à l'écoute.
Douceur, mais pas mollesse, car elles sont très dynamiques et particulièrement à l'aise sur les grands ensembles.

Depuis que je les ai reçues, j'ai pu parcourir presque toute ma discothèque qui est assez éclectique. De l’orchestre de chambre à l'électro, de la musique contemporaine à la world.
Dans tous les registres, elles sont impressionnantes de justesse et de clarté.

En conclusion, je n'ai jamais entendu des enceintes comparables à ce niveau de prix.
Elles sont vraiment excellentes.

Audiophonics-ap300-s250ncx : Le Graal ?
Cet amplificateur remplace un SMSL-AD18 dont l'alimentation venait de rendre l'âme. J'avais toujours comme ressenti avec une paire de Elipson P4I un manque d'assise dans les mediums. Apres un petit rodage, le son est apparu plus fidèle que jamais, bien présent dans les mediums, l'impact des bass était bien plus dynamique qu'auparavant .... bref cet ampli est incroyable, je regrette de pas l'avoir acheté bien plus tot ....

Préampli connecté avec câble viablue NFS1 sur ampli Yamaha AS 1200 . Je conseille fortement d'utiliser le réducteur de bruit DC 12-55 volts Fosi audio à 19.90 euros sur ce même site ( obtention d'une scène sonore plus large et plus propre ) . Restitution sonore d'un grand naturel , aucune coloration , on perçoit facilement les ambiances de la salle d'enregistrement (écho ,résonances , résonances des instruments et des extinctions de notes ) Tout celà contribuent au réalisme de l'écoute , un vrai plaisir musical . Du hdg à prix cassé .

I wanted a streamer for my second system that was cheaper and simpler than my reference system, which cost as much as a small flat. This board, paired with an RPI5, a Q7 reclocker and other accessories (I can choose between Moode and Volumio in dual-boot mode), eventually found its way into my main system. The sound is balanced yet detailed, without ever becoming tiring – unlike many of the latest products, which seem designed more to impress with their specs than to deliver a good listening experience.

Mon point de vue personnel, n'apporte pas grand chose de plus a mes oreilles, comparativement a d'autre fiches bananes plus classique.

Beaucoup d'éloge mais pas vraiment constaté a l'écoute sur mon système ! avec fiches bananes pur cuivre
sur mon système cinéma (ampli Sony dernier modèle et Dali Oberon vocal) pour essayer. Pas convaincu a la première utilisation, sombre, froid, pas d'aigu, aération du message sonore (enceinte centrale) médiocre plutôt décevant. Je persévère 72 h beaucoup mieux en présence et aération mais toujours pas convaincu par le son de ce câble sur mon système.

Clearly better sound compared with cheaper copper Coax cables
I have owned the Neotech NEVD 1001 for a few days now and I've run comparisons against Audiophonics Canare and Oyaide AS-808 V2. Both cheaper cables claim strict adherence to specification, they have a confidence inspiring build quality that feels sensible. Therefore one could assume that because Coax carries a digital signal, all three would sound the same. If only that was the case!

This is the slightly annoying thing about digital cables, that they obviously do not all sound the same, and you get what you pay for. This applies to USB cables as well as Coax. The Audiophonics Canare sounds excellent, and there's nothing obviously wrong with the sound. But when you step up to the slightly more expensive Oyaide AS-808 it's like the sound expands in every direction, with a larger and more "floor to ceiling" sensation to the sound stage. The improvement is most obvious with headphones. And when I then step up to the silver Neotech NEVD-1001, it again sounds much better than the copper Oyaide cable. With the Neotech you get maybe 2x better sound, for 4x+ the cost. If you know that your system is good enough, it's absolutely worth getting either this Neotech silver cable, or the equivalent silver coax from Oyaide or someone else.

The difference I hear with the Neotech NEVD-1001 vs the cheaper cables is that the cheaper cables have a heavier and slower sound, whereas the Neotech cable makes all sounds pop more, with more detail, texture and dynamics. You might have heard the expression that the sound has a "blacker background", and that's exactly the feeling you get when you remove that heaviness from the cheaper coax cables. Sounds seem to have more empty space around them in all directions, like they're floating in air against a black background. The way this sounds, as an example, is that voices have a more defined outline around them and are more clearly separated from the background instrumentals. This effect applies to all sounds, no matter what kinds of sounds they are, and no matter where on the frequency band they play, whether it's bass, the midrange or treble. It creates a more dynamically dramatic and interesting sound. The silver Neotech also makes it sound like the dynamic range is expanded, so that sounds can play louder with more intensity. It's like the cheaper cables only play to 8 out of 10, whereas the silver cable unlocks the full 10 out of 10 in intensity.

To conclude, if you use Coax a lot, and you've got a great system, maybe using €1000+ headphones or speakers in the €1500+ range, then you will most likely appreciate the sound of this cable quite a bit. Given how expensive cables can get, I think the Neotech is good value considering the obvious sonic difference I'm hearing compared against Audiophonics Canare and Oyaide AS-808 V2. The difference isn't subtle. But with that said, the cheaper Coax cables still sound excellent to my ears. We're talking Good vs Better vs Best. None of the cables sound bad when taken in isolation.

As a final note, maybe you've noticed that Neotech have two silver coax cables. The NEVD 1001 and the NEVD 2001. This more expensive 1001 model uses UP-OCC silver, whereas the cheaper 2001 version uses "normal" silver wires. Does that make a meaningful difference? Who knows! But I got the more expensive 1001 version because the price difference isn't that big.

Step up on quality
Mounted on a Aiyima T1 Pro that goes into a Fosi ZA3 and the sound improved, sound stage is much better, bass is full, controlled, treble is clear, mids are velvet smooth for jazz, now I select “direct” instead of “tone” because it sounds so good, maybe it has to do with aiyima valves, and stock opamps on the ZA3. What a surprise the combination.

I've come full circle.
If you have analytical speakers that, like mine, are almost impossible to control without a very serious amplifier, I highly recommend it. It's allowing me to enjoy and discover the sound these speakers can produce, something no other mid-range but high-power amplifier has been able to show me. The amplifier has to work incredibly hard with these speakers; after a listening session, you can feel how hot the entire chassis is due to the high demands placed on these speakers.

The sound is perfect: detailed, realistic, and brilliant vocals; crystal-clear, present highs that are neither harsh nor fatiguing after hours of listening; and the bass is magical. I've never been able to enjoy bass so spectacularly controlled and defined as I do now.

The sound is now at the same level as what I heard years ago when I went to audio trade shows like Sonimac (Barcelona) and entered acoustically treated rooms with speakers like mine and McIntosh amplification worth thousands and thousands of euros.

For me, the search for perfect sound is over. This amplifier, along with the rest of my equipment, gives me everything that has motivated me for so many years to achieve this sound. I recommend it to anyone with complex speakers; you'll be able to enjoy perfect sound.

Plus sérieusement au niveau son c'est vraiment une réussite, ça serait quand même dommage au vu de l'investissement.
Le dac est nomade seulement en intérieur , et vu la chaleur dégagé par les tubes les patins à coller ne sont pas une option.
Il faudra également veiller à le poser sur une surface plane pour que l'air puisse circuler.
L'autonomie est suffisante mais pas très importante, le casque utilisé influe évidemment, avec un meze 99 classic on gagne un peu alors qu'un hifiman ananda lui est plus energivore.
Comme indiqué dans la description c'est effectivement un petit bijou, un bel objet bien fait je dirais, la qualité est au rdv.
Avec la température de ces derniers jours ça chauffe quand même beaucoup je préfère éviter les trop longues sessions, pour information je découvre les électroniques à tubes.

Parfait
Le haut-parleur de grave Dayton Audio DC250-8, je l'ai intégré dans mes enceintes 3 voies.
J'ai cherché des graves profonds et souples - le DC250-8 remplit son rôle parfaitement.
Mon filtre crossover a la coupure à 850 Hz, car le DC250-8 est très performant jusqu'à 1 kHz.
Excellentes performances pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

The rhodium plating makes it difficult to solder
I replace one of them on the back of my DAC... I think when my DAC was shipped to me maybe they had pressure pushing on them because one of the barrels inside would slide in and out if you try to connect an RCA cable... so I had to replace it...
The rhodium plating makes it difficult to solder... the Sauter did not want to connect or make contact with the rhodium coding on the RCA connector...it's a little difficult to get into the small areas when trying to solder... I was ready to cry after trying many attemptswhen the solder would not connect the wire because of the rhodium plating... finally I made a connection but it was the worst time I've had soldering anything...
now I believe the company makes a little different style they have a little hose at the end of where you connect them you can feed your wire through them and twist it and it will stay in place making it easier for you to make the soldered joint.

Simple et efficace
Matériel très propre, bien conçu, bien construit et abordable.
Idéal pour un système de bureau.
Il est positionné entre la tour (par USB) et (par RCA) un caisson actif qui pilote deux enceintes (Kit klipsh promedia heritage 2.1).

Le résultat est bien celui espèré : un DAC / préampli / ampli casque performant et simple d'emploi.

Excellente alimentation
Cette alimentation est robuste, très stable, avec un circuit imprimé solide qui permet de la retravailler si besoin. Personnellement j'ai remplacé les diodes par des diodes à recouvrement ultra rapide qui attenuent leur ripple et changé les confo wima mks 4 0,1uf/630v par des mkp 0,1uf 630v audyn copper que j'avais acheté il y a des annees sans les avoir jamais reellement integres dans un de mes montages. Le resultat est bluffant de gain en dynamique, clarté, espace et profondeur de scene face à des alimentations bien plus reputees haut de gamme. Une excellente base.

Magique
Achteté pour tester avec le lecteur dac Audalytik Dr70N avec lequel sans cette alimentation et en utilsant que le streamer,c’etait déjà excellent.
Cette alimentation amèliore vraiment le son,meilleurs basses,les voix,et même le son du tv
J’ai le sentiment d’écouter Fip en fm ...pour ceux qui ont cette chance

Fait le job
La finition est très bonne.
Une bonne réserve de puissance. Possibilité de faire quelques réglages via l'application. Le son est bon, mais difficile de décrire le ressenti car cela dépendra du casque utilisé. Ce qui est sûr c'est qu'il pourra alimenter des casques très gourmand.
Pour moi il alimente un sivga robin. La scène sonore est large. Basse profondes et aigu agréables.
Seul problème : le câble usb hs au bout de 4 utilisations. Un peu dommage pour le prix. Obligé d'en racheter un.
Cela reste un bon produit qui fait ce qu'on lui demande.

Highly impressed with the Audiophonics AP310-PREAMP. Extremely neutral preamp. Interesting note: with the FiiO K13, the soundstage became wider, and with the Topping D70 Sabre, that flat presentation completely disappeared. Highly recommended!

Di scarsa qualità dei materiali. Led rotto..componenti piegati..saldature a limite della decenza. Anche se funziona la V. in uscita e sempre ballerina.

Prise électrique sobre. D'un plastique rond et semi brillant, d'inspiration gothique.
L'enfoncement des prises se fait de manière sèche et distincte ce qui renforce la confiance et le sérieux lors des plug-in/out.
L'absence de filtration provoque; sur mon système, une meilleure image. Les timbres sont mieux respectés et la brillance des hits-hats moins agressive comparés à une prise générique ou avec filtration
J'ai pu diagnostiqué un problème sur ma stéréo ayant utiliser le mauvais câble secteur sur l'enceinte gauche de mon système monitoré.
Félicitation au concepteur de ce modèle permettant un nouveau départ pour l'ensemble des composants.
J'ai pu dissocier mon installation informatique sur une autre barrette et en subir les conséquences positives.

Cout faible pour résultat concluant
Connecté à un préampli à tubes AYIMA : ouverture de la scène sonore importante sans brider le son ni le colorer . Recommandable .

this handy cable passes through the usb c data (i can confirm it keeps usb 3.1 speeds for the ssd) but powers the device from the DC side.

this setup results in VERY low noise floor. lower than anything i heard with my RPI until now.

prior to this i used an ifi Ipower Elite to power the UCPI board, and the SSD was powered from the RPI USB port.
i can confirm that with this shanti setup the noise floor, especially on the high frequencies is greatly reduced. i no, it is not fair comparison since in the case of the Elite the SSD was drawing power from the RPI usb port. but the shanti let's me do this isolated powering up of the rpi and ssd, so this is definitely a plus. i don't know if the reduced noise floor is due to purely the shanti, or the fact that i am now powering the SSD from a separate rail. but for roughly the same price (shanti vs ifi ipower elite) i can achieve this type of setup, resulting in very very low noise floor.

one thing i do not like is the cables and adapters on the shanti.. they don't seem of high quality, but again, lowest noise floor i heard.. maybe in the future i will replace the shanti wire with something that is terminated directly with a usb C connector.

regarding heat, the shanti is warm to the touch.
definitely warmer than an ifi ipower elite.
but cooler than a ferrum hypsos, and much cooler than a farad super 3.

so very happy with this buy and what it did for my setup !

AUDIOPHONICS OPA1656 Dual OPA DIP8 (Unit)
This is a remarkable TI IC Op amp. It is amazing at separating instruments and if you listen to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, you can actually see what the performers did to shape the music. In a pre-amp you might hunger for tones to sustain differently. The system is so fast that I found myself loving the precision but hoping for a bit more body over time. It is going to be a killer for anyone with an inexpensive China-Fi amp. This will slay the standard output ICs in many of those devices.

My study was limited to preamp use. If Audiotronics can offer a OPA2656 Dual OPA Dip8 (Unit) I would experiment with both, as well as a few others. It is wonderful and I will keep mine when I am looking for what they provide.

Au départ je l'ai acheté par curiosité , afin de mettre une courbe sur l'acoustique de mon séjour. Simple à mettre en oeuvre avec le logiciel REW EQ , ce micro se révèle précieux pour celui qui cherche a optimiser les performances de son système audio. Cet appareil a mis le doigt sur des modes bien prononcés que tout déplacement du subwoofer ne parvenait à atténuer, et pas question d'installer des bass traps. Un Dspeaker antimode X2 a solutionné mon problème de façon très efficace.
Depuis, avec le Umik-1, Je me complais occasionnellement à débusquer à la demande les ondes stationnaires qui hantent les salons de
connaissances, telles des fantômes qui ponctionnent votre son .
l'appareil est robuste , pratique avec son pied. une rallonge usb A/ usbC de 3m munie d'un répéteur à ajouter au câble de 5m fourni sera conseillée si le point d'écoute est un peu éloigné de votre ampli hifi.

Audiophonics rocks

Excellent DAC très dynamique
Excellentes performances et fonctionnalités uniques. Je recommande d'installer le dernier Firmware pour une meilleure stabilité WIFI.

Tres bonne amplis rapport qualité prix le son et bon et il ne prend que peu de place sur une étagères, cependant j'ai eu une frayeur un jour en l'allumant je n'avais pas de voix droite, j'ai éteint puit rallumer l'ampli et tous est revenue. Apres avoir échanger avec le SAV j'ai appris que l'ampli peut ce mettre en secu sur chaque voix indépendamment, avoir une protection interne est donc tres rassurant !
