Our DAC USB U-Sabre DESKTOP comes back to us in version ES9018K2M , with the joyful musicality, a dynamics out of norms and always with the interface SA9023 requiring no drivers.

The addition of an ES9018K2M ESS chip enables the U-Sabre DESKTOP to achieve high-end performance, thanks to the 100MHz clock exclusively for the conversion chip.

The U-Sabre DESKTOP is a digital to analog converter (USB to RCA), but it is also a headphone amplifier of a formidable efficiency whose amplification stage is driven by 3 AOP quality with volume adjustment by potentiometer with Carbon track.

The RCA output is fixed level and the headphone amplifier is capable of driving headphones up to 300 Ohms impedance.

When you're turning the volume control, unpleasant and loud noise in the headphones is clearly audible.
This DAC does not reproduce low sound frequencies at all.
Maybe I've got a defective one.
In any case, I'm going to make a return of the product...

High and medium frequencies are a little bit clearer compare to the integrated sound card, but not striking. I can’t say that the sound is impressive and you immediately will hear the difference between DAC & integrated sound card.
Again, maybe the reason is I've got a defective product.

It's impossible for a Sabre DAC based product to doesnt provide any low frequencies.

Rendu précis et néanmoins très musical sur une large bande de fréquences (testé avec un Audio Technica ATH AVC 500). Parfait pour monter en gamme par rapport à la carte son de mon PC portable, c'est clairement un grand bon vers la HiFi. Contrôle volume très agréable.

Donne entière satisfaction
J'utilise cet ampli casque au bureau avec une paire d'écouteurs intra-auriculaires à Sennheiser 15 €.

Le PC l'a reconnu automatiquement en USB.

Par rapport à l'écoute directe sur ma carte son, j'ai beaucoup plus de détails dans le médium aigu.

Le réglage du volume est aussi devenu beaucoup plus commode.
