Amplifier Class D 2x Infineon MA12070 Balanced 2x90W 4 Ohm
Sabaj unveils its A20a, a high performance balanced Class D amplifier, based on the use of two Infineon MA12070 amplifier chips. It is thus able to deliver a power of 2x90W under 4 Ohm with a high efficiency, while ensuring a great precision and sound transparency. The whole device benefits from a careful design, using proven and recognized audio components.
One amplifier chip per channel
At the heart of the Sabaj A20a are two Infineon MERUS MA12070 amplifier chips, independently powering the two channels of the amplifier within a balanced circuit. This efficient duo allows the A20a to develop a power of 2x90W under 4Ω or 2x50W under 8Ω. These chips also offer a high quality transient response and a clear reproduction.
A controlled power supply stage
Sabaj has done a lot of work on the A20a's power supply stage to provide a clean and stable electrical signal to all the audio circuits. This switching power supply incorporates a large low-loss transformer and is capable of delivering an instantaneous power of 300W, allowing for a wide dynamic range while reducing electromagnetic interference.
Subwoofer output
The A20a incorporates a low-pass filter capable of filtering out vocals to promote deep bass. The A20a's subwoofer input can be connected to create a true 2.1 audio system.
Balanced design
Thanks to its balanced circuitry and carefully selected components, the A20a is capable of revealing the finest details of your music while offering beautiful dynamics. The rear panel of the unit has two inputs: balanced XLR and single-ended RCA, to suit all systems.
A sound that adapts to your desires
Sabaj has integrated in its A20a seven predefined equalizers to adapt the sound of the amplifier to your listening, your music and your equipment. In addition, there is a custom mode, allowing you to adjust the bass and treble levels yourself over a range of +9dB to -9dB.
