The DAC has a very good pre-amplifier, which makes it possible to effectively control the volume of active monitors. The sound quality after two days of listening, we only managed to understand that it is not worse than Chord Mojo, and provides better control over high frequencies. The mids are about the same. It is very pleasant to listen to the device, it is not sharp. The bass is still being worked out softly, the accuracy of the strike is not enough, it is possible to improve with warming up. However, we are very pleased with the technical equipment of the device with all kinds of inputs. BT works stably without interruptions. HDMI could not be connected to the Cayin N6 mk2, all four configurations in the menu did not help. On the remote control, the volume is adjusted step by step, one division of 0.5 db very slowly. The attenuar knob on the device is also very slow to adjust the volume. But this is good for night listening, since you can set the volume of active Genelec 8040 monitors extremely quiet, and the chip allows you to hear all sounds without loss.
