The USB A to C cable that comes with it is only good for powering the davice , not for data transfer . If used for data , Windows 10 will not recognize the device ! Use another USB cable for both data and power and then it will work . Also , the default setting for the output terminals is TRS , not RCA . If you use RCA cables to connect to your amplifier , change this setting . This information is not provided in the manual and I think that is a big shortcoming . It took me quite some time and pain to figure this all out . Sound is perfect (once you get it running...)
