Exciter technology offers a universal and affordable alternative to conventional speakers, allowing sound reproduction virtually anywhere you want it. Dayton Audio's 2-hole mounting vibrators can be used in a multitude of DIY applications.
Surprising sound performance
Dayton Audio's EX25CT2-4 vibrator has the ability to turn almost any surface into a speaker. The small size of this exciter allows for audio reproduction in unusual locations. A neodymium magnet is used to create magnetic flux around the coil for increased sensitivity. This allows for reduced power requirements and the use of very small amplifiers without sacrificing overall efficiency. The 1" coil and cooling vents allow for increased input power for high efficiency applications, while maintaining a slim form factor.
A quick and easy mounting system
With Dayton Audio's exclusive two-hole mounting system, you can test many different configurations, placements and excitations to find the best combination for your project. Each vibrator comes with a two-hole mounting bracket that can be easily installed anywhere. Simply remove the bracket from the vibrator assembly, mount it to your surface with two screws or the included 3M adhesive, and screw the exciter assembly back onto the bracket.
