The Hecate Xmos Xcore 208 Asynchronous USB / SPDIF Frame features the latest in high-resolution digital technology. This interface includes dual isolation galvanic isolation with 2x4 channels, guaranteeing the 1000 MIPS of computing capacity of the new processor XMOS Xcore 208, that is twice the capacity of the XMOS U8 older generation.

works perfectly
works out of the box, tested on Coaxial output to PS Audio Directstream DAC an with raspberry pi3 as source (using dietpi and RoonBridge)

Superbe réussite
Pour l'instant utilisé uniquement sur sa sortie SPDIF alors que l'objectif sera de brancher un module AudioGD output I2S/HDMI par la suite. Rien que dans cette configuration, le résultat est stupéfiant par rapport à la sortie USB de mon PC ou RaspberryPI3. Gain en transparence et précision, meilleure scène sonore. Et ce, même avec les fichiers HD, le gain pour moi est énorme.

Trés bien
J'ai commandé cet interface pour remplacer un Audio-GD Amanero, il y a pas photo c'est nettement mieux et largement au dessus, sans entrer dans les superlatifs (idiophiles !) du son fruité et tout et tout, sur mon système très critique, qui ne pardonne rien, en 4 voies actives à pavillons, avec filtrage FIR via 2 cartes Najda modifiées (une par canal) et amplis "maison" classe A mosfet, la différence est flagrante, écoute globale plus "analogique" qu'avant, et sensation d'une plus grande pureté,
Je précise que j'utilise la sortie I2S uniquement (qui est conforme à la norme, centrée à gauche, suite à un test effectué avec un oscillo Tektronix MDO3014 option I2S), pas de problème pour le câblage des 3 bus, car les sorties LRCLK, BCLK et Data sont parfaitement repérées au dos de la carte. (3 liaisons de longueur identiques au plus court, I2S oblige, vers mon interface "métronome" avant d'attaquer mes 2 cartes de filtrage Najda)
J'utilise le très bon player Foobar sur un pc windows 7/64 équipé DSD, ne pas oublier de sélectionner les drivers "Xcore 208" (après leur installation sur le PC) dans l'interface de Foobar, sur lequel certains paramètres doivent être soigneusement ajustés, pour une écoute optimale comme le buffering qui peut être réduit au minimum soit 50ms.
