This adapter also allows the connection of a ES9038Q2M Audiophonics via a 3 pin connector I2S. Thus one can enjoy horizontal integration for SBC ODROID C2.

Backwards compatible with DAC Audiophonics ES9028Q2M

This adapter will operate at 100% capacity with the DAC Audiophonics ES9028Q2M and ES9038Q2M designed KALI release.

A support with non-KALI versions is also possible. However, this involves desoldering GPIO taken DAC to reverse it.
