This amplifier module is based on the high performance bipolar LM3886TF circuit developed by National Semiconductor. This audiophile version has revised and corrected components of very high quality like metal resistors and film capacitors. It has LM317 controllers, oversized output filter coils.
This LM 3886 stereo is capable of delivering a continuous power of 2 x 68W (up to 135W peak) under a load of 4Ω with a distortion rate not exceeding 0.1% over the audible range of 20Hz and 20KHz.
This amplifier module is equipped with a sophisticated dual system of protection against overvoltages (proprietary technology SPiKe™), and undervoltages.
The latter occurs when the power supply drops below 12V. The integrated relays provide protection for the speakers and have a delay time to avoid "Plocs" when switching on.
This product offers a dynamic, musical sound and a good bass performance typical of Class A/B.

An excellent LM3886 module that will find its place in any DIY project, from a simple stereo amplifier to high quality active multi-amplification for a reasonable price.

This LM3886TF version does not require a Mica or plastic insulator for heatsinks.
The driver part is on support DIP 8 allowing the two mono OPA to be changed at will. The free DIP 8 slot allows the use of a stereo OP amp instead of the other two mono amps on the sides.
