Following the success of the Sabre ES9023 in I2S version to analog, we decided to market a more advanced version equipped with an improved connector facilitating its use (no soldering required).

This unit is ideal for transforming a Raspberry Pi A +, B + or 2.0 into a high-definition file player. This converter delivers unbeatable value for money with direct analog outputs on high-quality headers.

Equipped with the now famous SABRE ES9023 (equipped with our U-SABRE), Ultra low noise "ON" regulator and condenser OS-CON this DAC will offer you musical sound and rich micro details.

Its high versatility (GPIO B + or A + format HAT (for PI) as well as I2S inputs) allows it to be also usable from a USB interface or any I2S source.

Features:

  • Slot to integrate full-size TCXO clock
  • I2S input on 5 pin XHP connector
  • 5 V input on 2-pin XHP connector (not required if the PI is powered by the Micro USB port)
  • Input: Raspberry PI B + A + 2.0 GPIO and I2S
  • GPIO report (you can stack other modules)
  • Output: RCA High Quality Gold Plated
  • Supported sampling rates: 24bit 192 kHz
  • This converter has its own clock it is possibthe one of inject an external one by connecting the R1
  • No welding required
  • Supplied with 4 nuts, 4 screws and 4 spacers to fix it to the PI B +, A + or 2.0 (HAT format)
  • Spacing: 50 x 50 mm
  • PCB Dimensions: 65x56x30mm
  • I2S driver: Hifiberry DAC
  • Volume fixed under Volumio in bitperfect

Il y a pas photo
pour ce prix, il est à mon avis impossible de faire mieux. Cette nouvelle version du Sabre DAC pour RaspPi, avec la possibilité de rajouter une horloge est simplement époustouflante.

Le montage du DAC sur un RasPi 2 est encore facilité avec les petits espaces livrés par Audiophonics !

Merci pour un produit réellement génial !

Encore une fois audiophonics à mis dans le mille pour ses conseils, raspberry ok, alim régulée lineaire ok? et ce fameux sabre es 9023 qui sonne plus que ce que j attendais.Un son detaillé medium bass et aigue dans ces details, le son est présent je ne suis pas equipé d un mac intosh mc 5200, mais dual bloc 22 tripath et preampli tpr3 avec enceinte fountek et ca me donne amplement satisfaction .
je suis definitevement audiophonics pour leur proffessionnalisme tof

Une merveille
J'ai investi dans ce DAC sans beaucoup d'espoir après avoir testé d'autres matériels beaucoup plus cher. Une fois installé et paramètré sur Volumio avec l'aide du SAV (merci encore à eux), je me suis trouvé époustouflé par la qualité de son obtenu avec un tel appareil.

TOP Quality DAC
I recently baught this DAC for my new Raspberry Pi audio project and i'm really impressed by the performance. I compared with my SABRE 9018 Reference DAC and I was not able find any differences. The sound stage, bass, mid and high reproduction was impressive and the overall was very dynamic
