The latest addition to the PCM1704UK brand converters, it is a new iteration that we consider it the most successful DAC on this component: indeed it does not contain less than 8! Equipped with the latest Amanero Asynchronous USB interface in an enhanced version by Audio-GD, this converter is pruned for the future.

Specially provided interior
The integrated PCM1704UK converters allow you to manage sources up to 32Bit / 384Hz. The MASTER 7 has 6 inputs: BNC SPDIF, AES / EBU, Coaxial SPDIF, Toslink Optics, and I2S via USB or RJ45, as well as 3 outputs: RCA, ACSS, and XLR.
That is, the entire internal wiring is made of Copper OCC, and a TCXO Audio-GD Clock is directly integrated, allowingant the significant decrease of Jitter.
 
An exceptional architecture

Its architecture with built-in DPS is combined with a separate oversized power supply of 21 groups, including 19 in Class A high-flying. Its transformers develop up to 1500W of power, for only 48W of consumption. <(s)div-text-editor text-center-div-style = "font-size: 15px" font-family: Muli, Arial; ; ">The MASTER 7 is therefore designed around 8 PCM1704UK and DSP1 (Altera Cyclone II) that work in parallel, alongside ultra discrete AOP. DSP - Altera Cyclone II
The French definition of DSP would call it "Digital Signal Process", or "Digital Signal Processing". This mini processor is optimized to process a large amount of data in parallel with each clock cycle. It is very efficient to process the digital signals that arrive to it. This Altera Cylone II makes the MASTER 7 a high fidelity product par excellence.
8x PCM1704UK
These 8 analog digital converters (DAC) use the R2R conversion which consists in directly using the bits of the digital signals to reconstruct the analog signals, all this acting on a network constituted solely by resistors having a given value (R) and its double (2R), without going through an over-sampling phase.

Du très bon !
Acheté que très récément en remplacement d'un PS audio NUWAVE (v2012). La différence saute au yeux ! Ouverture de scène, localisation des instruments, précision dans la music... Première écoute très plaisante ! Pour le coté matière je vais attendre un peu avant de me prononcer car le PS audio était généreux de ce coté là. Le M7 est plus neutre et on sent clairement que c'est une gamme au dessus. Du très bon ! Merci aussi à Audiophonics pour les multiples échanges de mails répondant à mes questions. Pas facile d'acheter de la hifi sans l'écouter mais aucun regret sur ce coup là. Une valeur sûre ce M7 ! Autre point appréciable, envoi très rapide et délai respecté (24h) car le matériel était en stock.
