The real engine of this DA-S250NC, the Hypex NCore NC252MP Class D amplifier module delivers considerable power, up to 2x250W under 4Ω, with great efficiency and ease, while maintaining a compact size. Its main characteristic reveals itself in its great linearity and its ability to ensure a very low level of distortion. The DA-S250NC reveals a sound reproduction as transparent as detailed to present you your music as close as possible to its recording in studio.
The NCore NC252MP also features its own SMPS power supply, consisting of a regulated half-bridge converter with synchronous rectification on the main output rails. This design is ideally suited for integration with a Class D amplifier, providing the amplifier with a stable, clean electrical signal and capable of responding quickly to more sudden power requirements.

The DA-S250NC's digital-to-analog conversion is handled by a widely proven and audiophile-approved DAC, the ES9038Q2M from ESS Technology. This chip uses the patented HyperStream® II 32bit architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology to deliver excellent performance. The result is incredibly accurate sound reproduction that captures every detail of your music.
This DAC also opens the door to very high resolution, supporting PCM audio streams up to 32bit 768kHz and DSD up to DSD256.

The DA-S250NC offers a complete range of connections to easily integrate into your audio system and adapt to your use. Its rear panel features digital inputs, coaxial, optical Toslink and USB-B (XMOS). For the outputs, you can of course count on high quality speaker terminals, but also on a Pre-Out output via RCA.
This RCA output offers you several possibilities:
- connect an active subwoofer
- connect another integrated amplifier
