Tonewinner AD-99D
Class AB Stereo Amplifier Bluetooth 2x290W 4 Ohm
As imposing in appearance as it is in power, the Tonewinner AD-99D is a powerful, versatile and robust Class AB stereo integrated amplifier. It delivers a pure and delicate sound, with a beautiful dynamic and richness of sound. It uses two balanced modules equipped with Toshiba transistors. It is completed by an efficient and reliable power supply stage and by a particularly complete connectic.
A powerful Class AB amp
The two amplifier modules of the AD-99D are placed on both sides of the device, on the side walls of the amplifier, directly leaning against the large heat sinks. These embed four pairs of Toshiba TTC5200 and TTA1943 transistors to deliver a power of 2x 190W under 4Ω or 2x 290W under 8Ω. A reliable architecture capable of a musical and lively sound reproduction.
AD1955 DAC
With many digital inputs, the Tonewinner AD-99D also has a dedicated digital to analog conversion section. This one uses a DAC AD1955 24bit 192kHz chip, allowing it to decode efficiently the digital streams in order to provide the most faithful sound possible.
From integrated amplifier to power amp
The Pre-Out output and the Amp In input of the AD-99D, which are connected to each other for operation as an integrated amplifier, can be disconnected. In this case, the AD-99D becomes an independent power amplifier and can be integrated into a more complex system.
A consistent power supply
The power supply stage of the Tonewinner AD-99D is mainly composed of a large 550VA toroidal transformer as well as a module integrating eight large filter capacitors for a total capacity of 69400pF. This allows to provide all the circuits with a clean electrical signal and to meet important and sudden energy needs.
Total insulation
Each section of the Tonewinner AD-99D is physically isolated from the others to greatly limit interference that can affect signal quality.
An abundance of connectivity
With its many inputs, the AD-99D is very versatile. It will be able to integrate without difficulty into the vast majority of audio systems. It offers, as inputs, USB-B (USB Audio) and USB-A (USB Host), a slot for Micro SD card, HDMI ARC, optical and coaxial for the digital section as well as stereo RCA for the analog part. This connectivity is completed by a Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing to easily broadcast its music remotely, from a smartphone or a tablet for example.
