SHANLING H2 Portable DAC CS43198 Headphone Amplifier Bluetooth 5.0 XMOS 32bit 384kHz DSD256 Black
With the Shanling H2, the Shanling brand unveils a compact, versatile device that performs the functions of portable DAC and headphone amplifier with integrated player. It features high-quality components such as a Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chip, a second-generation XMOS XU-216 USB interface, an Ingenic X1000 processor and SG-Micro 8262-2 OPAs. These components enable it to achieve an output power of up to 680mW @32 Ohm and support high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256. The H2 also features Bluetooth 5.0 functionality and a micro SD slot, as well as an integrated player for an enhanced user experience. The Shanling H2 charges via its USB-C port, and its battery provides up to 10.5 hours of autonomy.
Shanling H2: CS43198 DAC chip and XMOS XU-216 USB interface
The CS43198 DAC chip and XMOS XU-216 USB interface enable the H2 to decode high-resolution streams up to PCM 384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256. This makes the H2 the ideal companion to a smartphone or computer for pure, detailed sound reproduction.
Shanling H2: SG-Micro 8262 OPAs
The H2 uses two SG-Micro 8262 OPAs for its balanced 4.4mm jack output, combined with Elna Silmic II capacitors. It is compatible with most headphones and earphones on the market, thanks to its 3.5mm jack output with an output power of 180mW @ 32 ohm and its balanced 4.4mm jack output with an output power of 680mW @ 32 ohm.
Shanling H2: a micro SD slot
The H2's micro HD slot lets you enjoy lossless high-definition audio files up to PCM 192kHz and DSD128. The micro HD slot accepts cards up to 2 TO in capacity. You can access your files via the Eddict Player application, available on IOS and Android.
Shanling H2: a 2100mAh battery
Despite its extremely compact size, the H2 benefits from a 2100mAh battery, giving it an autonomy of 12.5h on its 3.5mm jack output or 10.5h on its 4.4mm balanced output. In addition, the H2's charging circuit is independent of the USB DAC input, with two separate USB-C connectors.
Shanling H2: Bluetooth 5.0
The Shanling H2 can be transformed into a high-quality Bluetooth DAC/headphone amplifier. It supports the high-resolution Bluetooth codecs LDAC (Android) and AAC (IOS).
Shanling H2: LED indicators
The H2's LED indicators show the sampling rate currently being played back according to the following color code:
- Blue : 44.1/48kHz
- Yellow : 88.2/96/176.4/192kHz
- Purple : 352/384kHz
- Green : DSD64/DSD128/DSD256
