This passive preamplifier offers both balanced and unbalanced connectivity, with desymmetrization function and extremely effective volume control, all integrated into a rugged yet unobtrusive housing.

Balanced AND Single-Ended

This passive preamplifier offers dual connectivity, both unbalanced with stereo RCA input and output and balanced with 3-pole XLR input and output. In addition, it also takes the function of desymmetrization since it is possible to enter XLR for output in RCA. The following connections are therefore possible:

• Balanced XLR Input to Balanced XLR output
• Balanced XLR input to Single-Ended RCA output
• Single-Ended RCA input to Single-Ended RCA output

This device is not a controller, so it is not possible to use the RCA input to output in XLR.

Aluminium housing

All components are integrated in a simple but robust housing, entirely made of brushed aluminium, with a silver front and the rest of the housing in black. On the front panel there is simply the volume knob offering a good grip and an LED indicating if the device is on (turning the volume knob to the right turns the device on).

At the rear are simply the RCA and XLR connectors with associated silkscreens to simply locate inputs and outputs. You will also find the power connector in IEC format as well as the presence of a fuse holder.
