Original Audio proposes with the OPA-Q1.1 an RIAA phono preamplifier with an original design, displaying a surprising cylindrical format, carved from a massive aluminum block. Its performances are not however in retreat, this one offering a beautiful musicality. Its circuits use a double field effect tube as well as an AOP for the MM/MC amplification section and its RIAA curve is of Non-Feedback type.

The amplification stage of the OPA-Q1.1 is also neat, with the use of a Z11 Iron Core transformer specially designed for this model.

For its connectivity, the OPA-Q1.1 provides both a classic connectivity of course, with an input and an output in stereo RCA format. However, it also offers a Toslink optical digital output, associated with a CS8604 ADC (analog to digital converter) supporting sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 96kHz.
