Atohm Rafale SL1-25 DIY Subwoofer Kit 220W 30Hz - 150Hz
The Athom Rafale SL1-25 kit is an active subwoofer featuring an S250 MK2-X amplifier module capable of delivering 220W RMS power, coupled with a 23cm LD230TDR04 subwoofer driver covering a frequency range from 30Hz to 150Hz. The result is a subwoofer with surprising performance considering its small size.
Please note: Cabinetry and damping materials are not included.
Athom Rafale SL1-25: LD230TDR04 subwoofer
With the LD230TDR04, Atohm presents a high-quality subwoofer speaker. Drawing on proven know-how and all the expertise acquired during the development and production of previous versions since the LD210, this latest generation of LD230 ‘TDR’ embodies excellence in covering the 20Hz-300Hz band. Thanks to its advanced technologies, this 23cm woofer pushes the limits of a speaker of this diameter to the utmost: unprecedented performance, both in active subwoofer applications and in the bass range of very high-end speakers.
Athom Rafale SL1-25: S250 MK2-X Amplification Module
The Atohm S250-MK2-X module combines a 220W Ice Power Class D stage under 4Ω with digital processing specifically designed for active subwoofer applications, incorporating X-GUARD which limits membrane excursion without phase distortion. Two equalisation modes are integrated to suit your needs. CLOSED compensates for the natural rise in impedance in closed loads, and U-GUARD ensures non-saturation of the output while eliminating unwanted harmonics.
