Planar Magnetic Open Headset 70ohms
An open headset incorporating Planar-Magnetic technology in a unique design to promote dynamics in sound restitution.
The LCD-2 combines N50 Neodymium magnets arranged in a proprietary Audeze structure with an ultra-thin diaphragm and a 106mm transducer for a linear response over the entire frequency band (10 Hz - 50kHz).
The diaphragms uses materials from aerospace to obtain membranes of exceptional lightness. This factor significantly reduces distortion while allowing extremely fine resolution.
Superb design
The structure is built around a lightweight suspension with crystal nylon rings. The latter is designed for optimum weight distribution on the head of the user.
Earcups include an acoustic memory foam designed for sound neutrality. Coupled with the balanced structure of the headset, this foam provides maximum comfort, including during extended listening sessions.
The connector 2x mini XLR 4-pin with locking knobs leaves a great freedom of movement (1.9m) while maintaining excellent strength across the cable and connectors.
