With the Cask of Ichiro's Malt, Tago Studio has teamed up with the Chichibu distillery to offer a headphone that takes its design cues from their iconic T3-01 headphone, but features a back panel made from the oak barrels used to age Ichiro's Malt whisky.

The back shell of the Cask of Ichiro's Malt is the result of a collaboration between Tago Studio and the Chichibu distillery, owned by the no less legendary Venture Whiskey. Scrap wood from the precious oak casks used to make Ichiro's Malt whisky has been used to create an aesthetically pleasing headphone that is a perfect tribute to meticulous craftsmanship.

The Cask of Ichiro's Malt is equipped with a Ø40 mm dynamic transducer with a membrane coated with silk proteins. This innovative coating, the result of collaboration with the Gunma textile industry, produces a light, rigid membrane capable of reproducing the subtleties of music with great precision. The combination of traditional materials and cutting-edge technology gives the Cask of Ichiro's Malt a smooth, natural sound, rich in detail.
