With Daybreak, CrinEar presents a pair of in-ear monitors combining five drivers per side in a hybrid configuration that brings out the best in each technology. Designed to offer neutral sound reproduction with pleasant listening, they combine advanced crossover design with rigorous tuning methodology and optimised wearing comfort. The result is earphones tailored for long listening sessions, minimising both auditory and physical fatigue.
CrinEar Daybreak: Hybrid 5-driver design
The Crinear Daybreak features five drivers per earphone, utilising different technologies to ensure optimal coverage across the entire audio spectrum. A 10mm dynamic driver handles the bass, with extended and controlled response. Two balanced armature transducers ensure accurate and detailed midrange reproduction. Finally, two latest-generation planar magnetic tweeters handle the high frequencies with excellent extension.
CrinEar Daybreak: IEF Preference 2025 curve as a guideline
The acoustic development of the Daybreak was based on the renowned Brüel & Kjær Type 5128 simulator, ensuring extreme precision in reproducing the target curve.
The tuning has been meticulously calibrated to align as closely as possible with the IEF Preference 2025 curve, renowned for offering a natural, balanced and pleasant sound during long listening sessions. The result is a neutral sound with a slight warmth in the bass, very neutral midrange and detailed but never harsh treble.
CrinEar Daybreak: 3D printing and custom crossover
The Daybreak enclosure is made from 3D-printed acrylic resin, a method that allows for extreme precision in shaping the internal acoustic channels. Thanks to this technology, Crinear has been able to develop a complex crossover that is perfectly suited to the characteristics of each driver. This approach ensures optimal frequency distribution, a smooth transition between each band and tonal consistency rarely achieved in this price range.
CrinEar Daybreak: Wearing comfort
The ergonomics of the Daybreak earphones have been given special attention: their contoured shape naturally fits the ear for a secure fit without uncomfortable pressure points. The acoustic nozzle, with a diameter of less than 6 mm, offers an excellent compromise between durability, isolation and comfort, ensuring a comfortable fit even during long listening sessions.
CrinEar Daybreak: Detachable cable with interchangeable termination
The Daybreak comes with a detachable silver-plated copper cable, ensuring optimal conductivity for lossless signal transfer. It features interchangeable terminations, allowing you to easily switch between a single-ended 3.5mm jack output and a balanced 4.4mm jack output, depending on your devices and preferences.
